Pride FestivalEdmonton
June 10, 2017
I'm performing at Pride Fest on Saturday! After the parade, the festival will be at End of Steel park (Gateway Blvd and 86 Ave). There will be two stages, the Main Stage and the Beer Gardens, and I'll be at the Beer Gardens at 1:40pm! I have a half hour set and I'm so excited! I've never performed at Pride before. :D If you're going to the parade, be sure to stick around the festival for music, fun, food trucks, and booths from all kinds of local resources and services. And look for my show in the Beer Gardens at 1:40! :D
My Boyfriend’s Girlfriend is the musical comedy I’ve been working on for a year and a half! We start rehearsals tomorrow (!!!) and we’ll have six performances at the Fringe Festival! I wrote the script and the music.
It’s about three video game nerds who start a polyamorous relationship, and one of them is transgender and changes gender presentation over the course of the story. It was so important to me to hire a trans performer for that role, and as a bonus I ended up also hiring a trans actor for one of the characters who isn’t trans LOL.
It’s a sweet funny story with lots of music and love, and I’m so excited for everyone to see it :D :D :D

The Mercer Collective is a craft market in the heart of downtown Edmonton. Located in the basement of the historic Mercer Warehouse, they feature a large variety of vendors - 35-40 per show - who make, bake, or create their wares themselves!
The market runs from 10am to 4pm, and Must Be Tuesday will be one of the musical artists doing a two hour set on Aug 10!
QUEER QUEST is a webshow hosted by James Nault and Birdie Glasser. It is open to all LGBTQIA+ people with something to share.
I guested on Queer Quest on Friday September 27th and it was a lot of fun! Here is a clip of my portion of the show! I played three songs: Cover Me I'm Going In, The Coming Out Song, and This Is Where I Wanna Be.
I found the format really interesting because you can see the audience's comments on the side, and the site records the chat and plays it back along with the video. Very cool. :D
